The science of learning and development points to clear “developmental practices” that should shape both simple and sustained interactions where young people and adults come together. Participants will experience using a 15 question tool addressing how important these practices are and how well they are being done. Answers to these questions set the stage for partners to discuss how to close the gap between importance and how well done. By reviewing their current policies, practices, and procedures against the science, practitioners will be able to apply a developmental lens to their policies.
