The Office of the Local Children's Board uses a collective impact approach to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families living in Howard County. Two foundational components to their approach are equity and authentic and sustained community engagement. This workshop will provide participants with a framework that aligns equity and engagement as anchors in a collective impact strategy. In this framework engagement is broken into four essential categories: Youth Engagement, School Engagement, Community Engagement, and Strategic Partnership Engagement. Participants will walk away with clear strategies in each of these four categories and how they work together to drive a collective impact strategy.
